The Neighbourhood of Glenelm

Glenelm is located between Henderson Highway and the Red River. It is a quiet area, and every street is lined with large elm trees — hence the name, but we’ve yet to see the “glen”. Glenelm is fairly close to downtown, but since it is across the river, there is a lot less activity here.

This park has lots of space to run around, and the trees provide nice shade.

Elmwood Park is just down the street from the daycare, and has lots of space for the children to exercise. The playground is new, and there is a wading pool we use on the warmer days.
